Tom SelleckThomas William Selleck is an American actor. His most well-known role was that of Thomas Magnum, a private investigator in Magnum, P.I. (1980-1988) in which the actor received five Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in the Drama Series which he won in 1985. From 2010 until 2010 Selleck has been the New York City Police Chief Frank Reagan. In nine television series that are based on the Robert B. Parker novels and plays, he was Jesse Stone, a troubled small-town chief of police, which began in 2005.
