
Suzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - January 19th, 2008) was an American theatre, film television, voice actress. Pleshette started her stage career and was featured in films in the late 1950s. In later years, she was a prominent actor in movies such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). From 1972 to 1978, Pleshette was a frequent guest on various television productions. She also appeared in Emily Hartley, which earned numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January of 1937. Her parents were Jewish, the children of immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage manager at the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
