Sharon Yvonne Stone was born on the 10th of March the year 1958 in Meadville, Pennsylvania, to accountant Dorothy Lawson and tool and die manufacturer also a former worker at a factory Joseph William Stone II. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her siblings. Stone began second grade in kindergarten at age five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania is her school of choice for highschool. Her graduation was in 1975. In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone winning Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move with her aunt from New Jersey, where she was interested in pursuing a modeling career. A month later, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe she lived for a year in Milano and Paris. Stone did, however, become unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. Stone decided to pursue her career as an actress while she lived there. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," the film which got mixed receptions.
